Which cookies and browser storage the AUREXL website uses, why they are needed, and how you can control them through your browser settings.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site remember information between visits.

Strictly necessary storage

We use storage needed to operate the site securely and remember your choices:

  • Admin session cookie — set only when an authorised AUREXL administrator signs in to the protected admin area.
  • Chat history in browser session storage — keeps the current chat available between pages and is cleared when the browser tab closes.
  • Cookie preference in browser local storage — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional tracking.
  • Visit source in browser session storage — the page you arrived on, the referring website and any campaign (UTM) tags. It stays in your browser, is cleared when the tab closes, and is only sent to us with an enquiry form you choose to submit, so we know which marketing channel led to the enquiry.
  • Security and performance cookies set by Cloudflare where needed to protect and deliver the website.

Optional analytics and visitor identification

With your permission, we may use Google Analytics to measure website use and RB2B to identify visiting companies and, for eligible United States traffic, business professionals. RB2B may associate visits with information in its identity network, including a name, professional profile or business email address. These tools receive technical and browsing information such as IP address, browser details, referring URL, pages viewed and visit timestamps.

  • RB2B cookies may include _reb2bgeo, _reb2bloaded, _reb2bref, _reb2sessionID, _reb2buid, _reb2bfxf, _reb2btd, _reb2bli, _reb2bresolve and _reb2butk. Depending on the cookie, they may last from the session up to one year.
  • Google Analytics cookies, when configured, measure visits and interactions so we can improve the website.
  • Google Tag Manager loads on every page to manage these tags. It does not set cookies itself, and the tags it manages stay in a consent-denied state until you accept optional cookies.

Managing cookies

Optional tracking does not load until you select “Accept optional cookies.” You can reject it without losing access to the website. Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer to change your choice. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings and opt out of RB2B’s identity network at https://app.retention.com/optout.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
